The LET Foundation

The Len Evans Tutorial is a not-for-profit entity funded entirely by sponsorships. Companies are encouraged to donate to the Len Evans Tutorial Incorporated in the form of a Sponsorship. Donations by individuals to LET Inc. are not tax-deductible.

The Len Evans Foundation, administered by the Len Evans Foundation Ltd, is the charitable arm of the LET. It aims to educate and encourage young people within the industry to become more knowledgeable about wine and the wine industry and to strengthen the credibility of the Australian Wine Show judging system. As a Public Ancillary Fund, donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible. Foundation funds will be used for external grants and wine education and training scholarships through partnerships with fully tax-deductible DGR entities such as the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW Foundation. An example of the type of grant awarded is for the recipient to undertake the Advanced Wine Assessment course run by the Australian Wine Research Institute in Adelaide.

While our primary fundraising focus is on the operation of the Tutorial, donations to The Len Evans Foundation for our external grant program are also welcome. As a deductible gift recipient entity (status 2), donations to the LET Foundation are fully tax-deductible. Please note, however, that donations to the Foundation do not help fund the Len Evans Tutorial program.

Direct deposits can be made to the Commonwealth Bank, Cessnock NSW 2325, using your name as a reference.
