Skye Salter - 2024 LET Scholar

We welcome Skye Salter of Paralian Wines as a 2024 LET Scholar.

Winemaker and Co-Owner of Paralian Wines, Skye has nearly 20 years of experience working in the industry, which has included overseas vintages in Burgundy, Languedoc Roussillon, and the Okanagan Valley before settling permanently in McLaren Vale. Skye has worked for multiple brands in the McLaren Vale region, including Hardys, Penny's Hill and most recently Willunga 100.

She launched Paralian with her husband and fellow winemaker, Charlie Seppelt, in 2018. This began as a side project where they could showcase some of their favourite vineyard sites and has now become Skye's full time role. They have recently become the new custodians of the Springs Hill Vineyard in Blewitt Springs - a cornerstone site for Paralian and the vineyard that was the catalyst to begin Paralian back in 2018.

Over the past five years, Skye has been actively involved in wine judging at regional and capital city wine shows. She is looking forward to being inspired, motivated, and challenged by the unforgettable wines and great wine minds at the LET!
